SoCal Removal removed an old modular unit that was taking up space at the North Campus of UCI. There was a fiber optic data line that had to be saved because it was being tied into another modular unit that facility staff were using to conduct work. Modulars are typically transported by trailer and are built in that fashion with a steel frame. Asbestos testing and air quality management district notification was the first step before the physical demolition and legal disposal of debris began.

SoCal Removal used an excavator with a thumb attachment to remove the wood frame members of the modular as well as the flooring before cutting the steel frame to be recycled. Once the scrap metal was separated from the trash, SoCal Removal loaded and had it all hauled away.  The entire work area was swept. We can be reached at 949-446-0000 CSLB#:980451
